Sunflower Services is an independent, nonprofit-owned Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to providing operational excellence to nonprofit and social impact organizations. Windward is among the nonprofit owners of Sunflower. In partnership with Sunflower, Windward fosters collaboration and leverages the work of other projects to strengthen efforts and impact. We provide strategic support, guidance on best practices, operations expertise, and specialized compliance knowledge to hosted projects.
Windward Fund is building a more impactful and inclusive environmental movement by providing fiscal sponsorship to organizations pursuing bold solutions to the climate crisis and other pressing environmental challenges. We also connect people who want to support these innovative solutions to maximize impact.
The Need
Despite important gains, our global response to a heating planet, rising food insecurity, and forced displacement isn’t moving fast enough. Scientists say we have 20 years to avoid irreversible damage.
The good news is we have bold solutions that work. But we must act quickly to fund and scale them for the greatest impact.
